Child Evangelism Fellowship is preparing to share the Gospel with Shasta District Fair visitors. Want to help? Call 241-7166.

Anderson Cottonwood Christian Assistance has garden plots available for those interested in growing organic veggies for your family and as a help to the community, too. Call either 275-4677 or 365-0365. We have seeds and advice.

Neighborhood Full Gospel Church of Corning invites you to Sunday School — 9:30am every week. Wednesday is family night at 7:00 including Good News Bible Club for kids. The church is at First and South Streets. Call 824-2323.

Little Country Church of McArthur provides dinner the last Friday of each month from 5:00 to 7:00 at the Fall River Veteran’s Hall. A home-cooked meal, for free.

Trucker’s Days of Jubilee at Pollard Flat (35 miles north of Redding on I-5) is through May 16th with live music, tent services at 7:00pm, free hamburgers Sunday. Steering Wheel Ministries hosts and everyone is welcome.

Messiah Choral Arts Academy Spring Concert is May 19th at 6:00 and May 20th at 4:00 and 6:00 at McKinleyville Seventh-day Adventist Church, 1200 Central Ave. Admission is free.

Adin Community Bible Church presents The Dartts in concert, May 21st at 7:00pm on the Vroman Ranch, 150 County Rd 198, in Rush Creek. Bring chairs and blankets. In case of bad weather, the concert will be at the church. Call 299-3238 or 260-0219 for information.

First Baptist Church of Lakeview presents a Christian rock concert May 21st at 7:00. Info by calling 947-2614.

First Baptist Church of Weaverville hosts The Masters Chorale from Masters College on May 24th at 7:00 in the Trinity Performing Arts Center in Weaverville.

Shasta County Veterans invite you to a remembrance service at Veterans Memorial Grove north of the Civic Auditorium, May 30th at 11:00am. A lunch follows the ceremony.

Child Evangelism Fellowship of Shasta County will have training camp for five day clubs June 4th to 9th at First Baptist Church on Eureka Way. Applications at the CEF office by calling 247-0254. Mountain Meadows Christian Camps begin again with the CEF camps June 16th to 22nd. Applications at the office as above.

Your church can sign up to co-sponsor the Luis Palau Crusade at Sacramento’s Cal Expo Arena June 16th and 17th by e-mailing updates at sacramentofestival dot com.

First Covenant Church in Eureka hosts camps for kids again this summer, June 18th to 22nd from Noon to 3:30 daily. Call 443-2957 or 442-6774 for sign up or information. Enrollment is limited.
