Life Light needs receptionists and peer counselors.  Interested?  They will train you.  Call 222-5200.

Care Net Pregnancy Center in Redding needs volunteers.  Call Helen at 246-7075 for information.

Mind Menders is a free, Christian peer support group for those in Humboldt County dealing with feelings of isolation, loneliness, depression, suicidal thoughts or any other challenges of daily living.  Meetings are 7:00pm every Thursday at Bayview Courtyard Apartments Community Room, 550 Union St., Arcata.  Provided by the Wesleyan Church of the Redwoods.

Providence International invites you to Riverland Farm each Saturday between 7:30 and 4:00 to learn by doing.  Free guided tour at 2:00 and volunteers take home a dozen eggs per family and a free conifer tree.  Look for the farm at 7230 Riverland Drive just off I-5.

The Berean Church of Weed hosts a mental health first aid workshop on June 23rd from 8:30 to 5:30.  Register by calling 530-938-2860.

Weaverville’s fifth annual Trinity Breakthrough Conference is June 30th at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall.  The event begins at 9:00am.  This year’s theme is Hope Lives Here.  Lunch is included.  No charge for the conference.

Friends of the Good News Rescue Mission will hear Bill Hartman, manager of guest services, July 9th, 11:00am, Westside Church of Redding, 4422 Swasey Drive.  Lunch will be provided.
