Garden of Hope provides naturally grown food in foods baskets for those who wish. Membership provides local employment training, mentoring and hope for the unemployed. Details by calling 530-215-1032 or 530-921-2688.

Anderson-Cottonwood Christian Assistance is a food bank and resource center looking for donations of food, hygiene items, diapers and baby formula as well as office supplies and materials for classes offered at the center. Call 530-357-4314.

Faith House, a service to the homeless in Susanville, is in need of bedding, towels, pots and pans, a large electric skillet and a large crock pot. Information by calling Patricia at 530-824-0411

The 30th annual CBMC Community Prayer Breakfast is April 3rd from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Holiday Inn on Hilltop Drive in Redding. Featured speaker this year is Troy Meeder of Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch in Oregon. Ticket information by calling 530-547-4767. Seating is limited.

Sunrise Services:
–Shasta Dam Kiwanis hosts at the Shasta Dam visitor Center at 6:30. Various churches participate.

Josh McDowell headlines the 12th annual Alpha Omega Conference hosted by Shasta Bible College and Graduate School held April 8th through 12th. Josh McDowell will speak April 9th at 7:00pm at Simpson University’s Heritage Center. Ticket information by calling 221-4275.

The next meeting of Friends of the Good News Rescue Mission is set for April 13th at 11:00am in the Blue Room at the Mission, 3075 Veda St., Redding. Bring a pot luck dish and a food donation and join in. Info by calling 241-1975.

Sharon Jaynes from Proverbs 31 Ministries and Girlfriends In God speaks at a live two-day event provided by Shasta County Women’s Ministry April 17th and 18th at Redding Christian Fellowship. Tickets at RCF, Bibles, Books and More, Tree of Life and several other churches.
