Jehovah Rapha is a support group for current or healed cancer patients and their families. Their next meeting is December 18th, 6:00pm, at Cozy Diner Banquet Room in Red Bluff. Call 824-0411 with any questions.

Holiday entertainment at Redding City Hall, 777 Cypress Ave., December 19th at noon, the Cypress Elementary School Kindergarten Carolers.

Sunlight Ministries is asking you to bring new or used coats and blankets to benefit the needy of the community, December 19th and 20th, between 9:00 and 4:00, to pack the Skylight Bus, at Simpson University.

First Covenant Church of Eureka presents an eight scene live nativity display, December 20th and 21st, 5:30 to 8:00. Follow the route: Buhne St, right onto K, right onto Carson, then right onto J, ending up at 2526 J Street.

The Ide Adobe Interpretive Association invites you to bring the whole family to the 37th annual Pioneer Christmas Party, December 20th from 1:00 to 4:00. Ide Adobe State Park is in Red Bluff.

Advent Taize Prayer services are offered at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 510 Jefferson St., Red Bluff from 6:00 to 7:00pm on December 21st. Information by calling 527-5205.

The First Southern Baptist Church Choir in Yreka is presenting a Christmas musical, “Emmanuel Hope of Our Hearts,” December 21st, 7:00pm, 921 So. Oregon Street. Free.

St. Luke’s Anglican Church, 1750 Canby Rd., Redding will have a traditional English Christmas Eve service Christmas Eve at 5:00.

Scott Valley Berean Church will have a Christmas Eve candlelight service at 6:00pm with soup and dessert potluck to follow. Christmas Day, there will be a free ham dinner for the community. Doors open at 1:00 and dinner served at 2:00. Info by calling 467-3715.

The monthly United Methodist Women thrift shop is set for January 2nd, 9:00 to 4:00 and January 3rd, 9:00 to 11:00 at the church, East and South Streets, Redding. Call 243-2403 for details.

The next meeting of the Friends of the Good News Rescue Mission will be January 5th at 11:00, at Cloverdale Community church, 16350 Hawthorne Rd., Anderson. Bring a guest and a dish to share.
