Anderson-Cottonwood Christian Assistance is a food bank and resource center looking for donations of food, hygiene items, diapers and baby formula as well as office supplies and materials for classes offered at the center. Call 530-357-4314.

Simpson University for Seniors is offering two classes in September for adults of any age. Classes start September 9th. Early registration is encouraged Course information and registration at the link above.

Klamath Falls Aglow Lighthouse meets September 9th from 10:00 to Noon at Abundant Life Christian Church, 4283 Bristol. Info by calling891-1439.

The Trinity Alliance Church annual Missions Yard Sale is on! September 11th and 12th from 8:00 to 3:00 at the church, 20639 Highway 299 East. It’s so big it fills two buildings and the front parking lot. All proceeds go to missions.

Valley Christian Fellowship will host the September 12th Beth Moore simulcast from 9:30 to 4:30 with an included catered lunch. The church is located at 3180 Rancho Rd., Redding. For information or reservations, call 530-221-0107.

The Aglow International Health Seminar is set for September 14th from 6:00 to 9:00pm at The Stirring, 2250 Churn Creek Rd., Redding.

Friends of the Good News Rescue Mission will meet at 11:00am on September 14th at Anderson-Cottonwood Neighborhood Church, 4684 Rhonda Rd., Anderson. Lunch provided.

The Good News Rescue Mission’s annual Harvest of Hope banquet is October 17th. Premier seating is now available to hear guest speaker Eldridge J. Broussard, author of The Challenge To Change, Transformation in a Nutshell. Call for information – 242-5920.

A fun-filled day of family activities is set for the first annual Harvest Festival in downtown Anderson, provided by Shasta Thrive and the Manter House — and you are invited, September 19th from 9:00 to 2:00 at the corner of Freeman and Howard.
