The next meeting of the Eureka Rescue Mission Auxiliary is April 21st at the mission, 110 2nd Street from Noon to 2:00. Bring a dollar and a canned food item.

The National Day of Prayer event in Redding is Noon on May 1st at Redding City Hall. Bring a lawn chair and some water and join in prayer for our community and nation.

United Methodist Women’s thrift shop is set for May 1st and 2nd at First Methodist Church, East and South Streets, Redding. Friday hours 9:00 to 4:00 and Saturday hours 9:00 to 11:00.

Orland Evangelical Free Church is sponsoring Cowboy Sunday May 4th at 11:00am at 6058 County Road 11 in Orland. Activities include a service, Tri-Tip barbecue, junior rodeo, bounce house, petting zoo, horseback rides and a concert featuring Fret Not Old Time Gospel Band.
