1. Man is sinful

Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”

2. Sin has a penalty

Romans 6:23 says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

3. Christ paid the penalty

Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

4. Salvation is a free gift

Ephesians 2:8 & 9 reads, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves it is the gift of God- not of works, lest any man should boast.”

5. Christ invites our response

Revelation 3:20, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock- if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.”

6. We must receive Him

John 1:12 says, “But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name.”

“Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose from the dead. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart to receive Jesus as my personal Savior. Thank you for saving me now. Amen.”
