Celebrate Recovery now meets Thursdays at 5:45 at Neighborhood Church of Anderson Cottonwood, 4684 Rhonda Road, in Cottonwood.  All who are struggling with a hurt, habit, or hang-up are welcome.

A Christian Country concert featuring Lisa Daggs, Ronnie Horton and Chad Bushnell happens January 26th at 6:00 at Valley Christian Center, 2831 Freeman in Anderson. Lisa Daggs will be at a book signing at Barnes and Nobel from 2:00 to 3:00 on the 25th.

The Behrens-Eaton House Museum is once again on the Redding Cultural Cruise. January 31st from 4:00 to 8:00 docents will be in costume handing out cookies in honor of the judge. 1520 West St., Redding.

The next meeting of Friends of the Good News Rescue Mission meets Monday, February 3rd at Grace Baptist Church, 3782 Churn Creek Rd. in Redding. The meeting begins at 11 AM. Please bring a food donation of beans and/or coffee for the mission.

Simpson University for seniors is offering two classes in February for adults of any age. early registration is encouraged. Classes begin February 3rd. One course is titled “How the West Was Lost: a history of the unintended consequences of land-use policy in the West.” The other is a class about the book of Psalms and how it’s impacted Christian theology and liturgy. Wade Hammond will sing at Meadview Baptist Church on February 9th at the 11:00am service. You hear Wade on our Country Barbecue Saturday afternoons.
