The school lunch and breakfast program continues at the following districts:
Enterprise Elementary – at Alta Mesa and Rother schools from 11:00 to 1:00. Children under 18 must be present at pick-up for meals Monday through Friday. Sign up at this link.
Happy Valley Union Elementary School District – Monday through Thursday from 10:00 to Noon at the elementary school site. Take the survey the night before at the school web site so your meal will be ready the next day. More info on the web site.
Pacheco Union District – Grab-and-Go lunch Monday through Friday for children 18 and under at Prairie School and Pacheco School from 11:00 to Noon, delivering to Riverland Market at 11:30. Children must be present to receive meals.
Tehama County school districts offer free drive through meals for children 18 and under from 10:00 to Noon Monday through Friday at Red Bluff High and Vista Prep. Children must be present to pick up a meal.
United Methodist Church of Scott Valley is offering meal delivery to homes Tuesdays and Thursdays. To arrange, call (530) 467-3612.
Home delivery of prepared meals is available through First Baptist Church of Mt. Shasta twice a week. Call to inquire: (530) 926-5095.
The next Friends of the Good News Rescue Mission will be held at Westside Church of Redding, 442 Swasey Drive, July 13th, at 11:00. Lunch will not be provided because the corona virus threat, so bring your own sack lunch. Bottled water will be provided.
